Boycott Kim Kardashian Movement Gains Steam

Boycott Kim Kardashian Movement Gains Steam - Kardashian Boycott Gains Steam As Petition Nears 100,000 Signatures. The Kardashian boycott that started with a small petition requesting that E! remove Keeping Up With The Kardashians from their network, is now gaining steam as the petition which had roughly 60,000+ signatures earlier today, is now closing in on 100,000 signatures. We guess that some folks must be pretty angry after Kim Kardashian’s short lived marriage to Kris Humphries – are you one of them? If you’d like to know how to sign the petition and help the Kardashian boycott keep going, read on for the details!

Earlier today when we checked in on the Kardashian boycott petition, there were nearly 66,000 or so signatures, but as of right now, that number has grown to over 97,000 signatures. The petition comes after Kim Kardashian’s possibly staged marriage to Kris Humphries, which only lasted a pathetic 72 days. Petition organizer Cyndy Snider said recently of the boycott: “In a grass roots effort, we have collected thousands of signatures for a petition asking E! Entertainment to remove the Kardashian suite of shows from their programming.” Wonder if Cyndy imagined that the thousands would quickly become hundreds of thousands?

Taking the Kardashian clan off of E! is not the only Kardashian boycott effort going around the web. In fact, folks are also planning to protest Tyler Perry’s new movie The Marriage Counselor, which cast Kim Kardashian. One angry protester took to Tyler Perry’s website and posted in the comments section: “I really am disappointed in your decision to keep Kim K. in your movie. She is a disgrace to herself and her family. She is a role model and she has disappointed her fans. Let her go. I guarantee she will bring your ratings down. Dump her.” Most folks seem to feel the same way regarding the movie as the comments are racking up there as well, and range from mild to folks who are utterly outraged.

It seems as though angry fans and haters alike have taken over the web and want the Kardashian family removed from television – and we can’t say that we blame them. I mean, come on, what kind of role models are these ladies? Heck, there is even a Kardashian boycott Facebook page than you can join to chat with other Kardashian haters. Would you like to see the Kardashian family taken off the air for good? If so, you can go to Kardashian boycott petition and sign your name to the petition!

Have you had enough of the Kardashian clan?
