Jessica Capshaw of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ pregnant with third child
Jessica Capshaw of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ pregnant with third child, Jessica Capshaw, who plays Dr. Arizona Robbins on “Grey’s Anatomy,” has announced that she is pregnant with her third child. Capshaw shared the news on Twitter yesterday: “It is with profound happiness and sheer delight that @Christopher_Gav and I can say that another sweet Gavigan baby is on the way!” The actress — who plays Seattle Grace’s head of pediatric medicine and the wife of Dr. Callie Torres (portrayed by Sara Ramirez) on the ABC drama — has two young children with husband Christopher Gavigan, who she married in 2004. Their daughter, Eve, is 14 months while son Luke is 4.
Capshaw, 35, is the daughter of Kate Capshaw and her first husband, Robert Capshaw, as well as — via her mother’s second marriage — the stepdaughter of Steven Spielberg. Her other credits include roles on “The L Word” and “The Practice,” as well as films like “Minority Report.”
A post on TVFanatic.com indicates that the actress’s pregnancy will not be written into any upcoming “Grey’s” plotlines.
