The incident occurred in December 2009, website TMZ reported.
Chantal Spears, formerly known as Ronald Spears, said she approached Kardashian's husband, LA Lakers basketball star Lamar Odom, outside the Playhouse nightclub and told him he was "too young to be married." Her lawsuit says she required medical care and suffered from "severe mental anguish" after the alleged assault, which she claims she did not provoke, according to People magazine.
Spears is seeking unspecified damages.
