Nancy Grace on Conrad Murray: "God's Going to Get Him"

Nancy Grace on Conrad Murray: "God's Going to Get Him" - Nancy Grace has some harsh words for Conrad Murray, who was found guilty Monday of involuntary manslaughter in the June 2009 death of Michael Jackson. "God's going to get him," former prosecutor Grace, 52, told Us Weekly backstage at Monday's Dancing With the Stars just hours after a jury of seven men and five women declared that Murray, 58, was criminally negligent in his use of the anesthetic propofol.

Set to be sentenced November 29, Murray is currently being held without bail. His charge of involuntary manslaughter carries a maximum sentence of four years in state prison.

"He's going to be miserable. He can run but he can't hide," reasons Grace, who offers legal commentary on her nightly HLN current affairs program. "He and Casey Anthony can have a tea party when he gets out in four years," she tells Us, referring to the 25-year-old Florida mom found not guilty of killing her daughter, Caylee, 2.

Grace argues that house arrest is not the proper punishment for Murray, whose legal team plans to appeal his verdict.

"I don't think that's fair," she told Us of the lighter sentencing option. "In fact, I think that he should have gotten murder one with propofol as a deadly weapon, and should have spent life behind bars."

The King of Pop's June 25, 2009 death was caused by "acute propofol intoxication," an L.A. County coroner ruled. As his personal physician, Murray had been administering the powerful surgical anesthetic to the singer every night for the last two months of his life, in order to combat his insomnia.

"Conrad Murray left Prince, Paris and Blanket without a father," prosecutor David Walgren said of the pop icon's daughter Paris, 13, and sons aged 14 and 9. "For them, this case doesn't end today, or tomorrow. For Michael's children, this case will go on forever, because they do not have a father. They do not have a father because of the actions of Conrad Murray."
