Emma Stone hosts SNL

Emma Stone hosts SNL - One of Hollywood's hottest young actresses returns for a second time as host of Saturday Night Live this week. Emma Stone will be joined by musical guest, Coldplay. Stone says hosting Saturday Night Live in 2010 was the greatest week of her life. Now, she's doing it again. "It's incredible. It's the second greatest week of my life," Stone said.

For the young actress who starred in the summer hit, "The Help," hosting a second time equates to SNL's seal of approval.

"I don't know how much I bring to it, other than, 'Sure, I'll do that. Whatever, I don't care,'" Stone said.

It's a game spirit the cast appreciates.

"She's a real fan of the show, which is great. She'll come in, and she even knows real obscure sketches," Bill Hader, SNL cast member, said.

Stone's mom introduced the actress to SNL as a child.

"I saw Gilda when i was 7," Stone said.

And later, she got to see the show in person.

"I was crying in the audience. It was a super emotional thing since I was a kid, which I know it is for a lot of people," Stone said.

Fans will see Stone next summer in "The Amazing Spiderman," and, in contrast to the measure paced of making films, SNL offers a fly-by-the-seat-of-the-pants experience.

"While people are home, watching the news, and it's starting to get into the sports, like around then is when we figure out what the show is," Hader said.

That's totally cool with Stone.

"This is my dream. I like anything that lacks overanalyzation. That's what sketch comedy is. That's what I love about it," Stone said.

At SNL, that love appears to be mutual. The musical guest this week is Coldplay. You can see Saturday Night Live at 9:30 p.m.
